We are the cliche couple that met online. Technically we didn’t actually meet for over a month. My sister Jess and I were doing some online shopping (on Match.com) when we came across Jen’s profile. I was like I love her… so Jess convinced me to send her a message. Jen of course replied quickly because I am quite the looker.

Thankfully I had a company phone with an unlimited plan to cover the minutes we burned through talking during our first month leading up to our first date on 11/20/2016. I picked a Pappadeaux (not realizing it was inside the airport lol) We circled the airport twice before Jen realized what I had done so we headed over to Papa’s Seafood. Almost lost her before we ever even had dinner.

I did everything I could from our first date to let Jen know that I loved her. Even hired a professional photographer (Jess is somewhat professional) to take a bunch of pictures showing Jen that I was the right man for her.

It almost didn’t happen. Jen and I were in Ireland and on our last day I convinced her we needed to drive 3 hours one way to go see the cliffs and bridge where they filmed Game of Thrones. It was 0 degrees Celsius, the wind was blowing 56 mph, and when we got out of the car Jen was like NOPE, let’s go. I threw a tantrum, and we got in the car to leave. I was pouting when pulling out of the parking lot and luckily she was like let’s go back. We layered up with more clothes and went walking around until I found the perfect spot on the side of the cliff. She’ll tell you I teared up, I’ll tell you the wind was cold and I have contacts or something.
